Over the summer we were able to get out a few times. Our most ambitious trip came at the end of August when we went up the Connecticut River. The first evening we spent at Brewers Essex.
The following day we make our way east past the entrance to New London Harbor and into Fishers Island sound then up the Mystic River. We spent the night at the Mystic Brewers.
On Wed of the week we headed back making the long leg from the Mystic River back to our home base in the Housatonic River.
Weather was absolutely perfect. NO wind, except an occasional 5 knot breeze, clear skies and plenty of sunshine.
